Where/what would you hunt, anywhere in the world outside of AZ. For me it would be guinea fowl in Africa. Never even researched it, but for some reason it just sounds epic. Picture from web for effect.

Guinea fowl are tasty. Like most game birds they are dark meat. My dad and I raised Ringneck Pheasants. We had regular egg laying chickens, a few Bantams, some Modern Game birds and the Pearl Guineas. If you want a watch dog, get some guineas. LOL no one will sneak up on you.

I was lucky my job took me to Edmonton Alberta. I got to hunt Deer, Moose, Elk and Caribou. I hunted black bears and grizzly. I was fortunate to do work for the Alberta game and fish along with the Canadian Wildlife Service. I got to go on caribou studies counting the animals in their migration across NWT. Pheasant studies in southern Alberta. To doing government hunting for rogue bears in western Alberta.

My first choice would be a ML moose hunt during the rut on a beautiful river with the leaves turning and the fish biting, a little frost in the morning and starting by sitting in camp with fresh brewed coffee while listening to the bacon sizzle.

Has to be camping, and not a lodge for the perfect hunt. Nothing like putting oneself back in the food chain to keep things in perspective.

Wow, there are so many Hunts I have wanted to do. Africa would be tops on my list. Mainly Cape Buffalo and I've always been fascinated with Greater Kudu. I also dreamed of hunting Dall Sheep, Brown Bear and Moose in Alaska or the Yukon. Alas life has decided otherwise! LOL
