What’s Your Favorite Trout Fly/Lure

[Wooly Bugger]

Per my handle, I am a wooly bugger guy. I tie a Wooly Bugger with chartreuse yarn and call it a Chernobyl Bugger. That thing is a killer. I got started late in the game have never witnessed a hatch, let alone matched one here in AZ. What are you tying on?

I tied several craw imitations this morning, along with my go-to white mtn special peacock lady with a holographic tail and badger hackle.

I have had good luck with peacock ladies myself. I usually tie the classic golden pheasant tail though. Worked great in Greer.
