Hello all,

I settled in AZ in 2009 after retiring from the Army (chair born pathologist). I'm still working in the same general career field, so I don't have as much time for shooting sports and hunting as I'd like. After loosing the AZ deer and elk hunting lotteries enough times, I "fixed" that issue by buying a 1/4 section hunting/fishing spot in Oklahoma. Trips there for deer and hog hunting are combined with side trips to Kansas to see relatives. I own a wide array of sporting and defensive weapons and look forward to learning from y'all and sharing what I know.

Sounds like you are "The Man With A Plan!" I've always wanted to go Hog Shooting but only made contact with one person who has acreage in south TX. I bought a Polaris from them. One of these days, I hope to mark that off my Bucket List.
Are you into shotgun principals? Living in Gilbert, you are close to Rio Salado. Not the best upkep range I've been ot, but good Sporting Clays course. Plus they gave Tuesday Night Annie Oakley. I've came up there for that two time to shoot with my BIL!

First off, thank you for your service! Welcome from Vail. We just relocated here from Northern Nevada.

Howdy, I'm in Gilbert too I shoot at Rio quite a bit usually two or three times a week I shoot Monday night bullseye and pistol and lever silhouette. It's kind of dumpy up there but not many options around here.
I also shoot at PRGC they have one gun it's a spin off of USPSA and a ton of fun. We also shoot bullseye up there they have a dedicated range so that's really nice and if your a member you can use the range if it's not being used for matches. They also have a ransom rest for testing the accuracy of your guns we also have one at Rio but I'm one of the few that use it on a regular basis.
Anyway welcome aboard I'm at Lindsay and Queen Creek area.
