Having lived in Arizona for most of my life, shooting in those scorching triple-digit temperatures feels like just another day at the office. I first got into firearms during my college days when a buddy of mine brought me out to the desert with his vintage .22 and a bunch of soda cans to shoot at.

Welcome!
Big changes since I moved here almost 37 years ago. I rarely go to the desert to shoot anymore as it takes an hour or more to get someplace to shoot.
I can be at an indoor range in 10 minutes or to Rio Salado Gun Club's range in 20 minutes.

In some ways it may be better, but that time will never come back. I've been here since mid 80's, courtesy of the USAF.
