Hey folks! I thought it'd be fun to start a thread to share our furry companions. Whether you've got a hunting dog, a loyal house pup, or that goofball lounging on the porch, I'd love to see some pics!

What's your dog's name and how did you end up with them? Do they have any funny quirks or memorable stories? My buddy Max thinks he's a lap dog even though he's 70 pounds!

My two rescues are excellent dogs.

Last yeat we adopted a female pup, Jackie, supposed to be a Saint Bernard and German shepperd mix,, and ended up being a Rafeiro Alentejano shepherd dog, a Portuguese shepherd breed, but there isn't a shepherd bone in her body.

We had Leyla for 9 years, a German shepperd and she was one heck of a guard dog, she was loyal and loving, and made sure you kept your distance until we said it was ok. Jackie is clumsy and bad at learning any command. She loves everyone and anyone, she throws herself on the floor so you rub her belly, and once you pet here, you're screwed, she will not let you go. So we might need to get another German shepherd that will guard her and us, cause Jackie will walk out with the thieves if they show her some love.
