The 'just leave it in the car' habit will get you killed

I know people who carry to the car and then leave the gun in the glove box before going into stores. I get it, it's uncomfortable sometimes but a gun in the parking lot isn't protecting the person in the building. Either carry it or don't

That’s always puzzled me too. If the plan is self-defense, leaving it in the car kind of defeats the whole point.

I know a guy whose truck got broken into, and he lost two pistols that way. After hearing that, I stopped leaving anything firearm-related in my vehicle altogether.
