I will say "calling my shots knowing where the bullet went before seeing the target". It ook me years to develop that level of awareness of sight picture and trigger press. I am still not perfect at it. It's one of those expert-level skills that separates good shooters from great ones. Patience and thousands of rounds eventually get you there.

Calling your shots is one of those skills that humbles everyone. When it finally clicks, it feels like unlocking a secret level

As a handgun combat shooting instructor, shooting with both eyes open. It is a very difficult task to accomplish, however, once the light switch goes on, it is awesome!

It feels impossible until it suddenly clicks, then you wonder how you ever shot with one eye closed...

Today I moved two scopes around. After leveling and trying to get and Eye hold, I found it very, VERY difficult to get. I keep seeing too much peripheral stuff to my left. But I'll give it another go when I get out to the range to sight them in.

The squeeze, follow thru and getting squared up to still have the target in the scope.

Bob, What I find that works for me. In shooting skeet, I do a semi–Low Gun. I mount it to my shoulder but have the barrel pointed down about 10 inches. I focus on the house and when I call pull, I follow almost as soon as the bird comes out of the window, I start bringing my gun up to and pass and maintain a match speed just in front. I don't, or very seldom even look or see the front bead! I also shoot #8 or #9 in 12 ga between 1,100 to 1145 FPS so I don't out run the bird, and the shot opens up faster. (in my opinion)

Anything to do with shotgun shooting! Ive got several but don't shoot good ( don't follow thru for awhile)
