Curious on short barrels

Are short barrels being fine-tuned as they should be from the factory, or are manufacturers still sticking to the safer option of high gas pressure?

From what I've seen, some short-barreled guns are still a bit over-gassed when they leave the factory. It keeps them working even with weak ammo but you definitely feel it in the recoil. A little tuning can really make a difference and bring it down somewhat.

Most SBR guns that I have repaired were over gassed from the factories that built them. All had different causes, but the same end result.
