Diving into ARs and Shooting

Just getting into ARs and shooting more in general. I’ve been doing some basic research and trying to soak it all in. There’s so much info out there. Figured I’d join to share my journey and learn from others. Excited to hear about what you guys are working on and any tips you’ve got!

I have a Ruger SR 5.56 which was my first AR. Then I bought a cheap (under 400) Radical Firearms AR, a BCA close-out heavy SOCOM fluted barrel a Timney trigger and a Mueller 5-36 scope. Tack-driver with 85 grain Nosler bullets. Under a grand total.

Curious about Ruger. You get 85gn bullets to feed and fit in standard AR mag?
